On 04, February, 2005 Grandmaster Crimi was presented with a Meritorious Service Medal from Law Enforcement. The Meritorious Service award is the highest honor Law Enforcement can bestow upon an individual. The Medal was presented for his 28 years of service and dedication to Law Enforcement and the Community, also his work with the S.E.D. teams and Correctional officers.

Grandmaster Crimi has taught defensive tactics to law enforcement for over 30 years, his defensive tactics course is certified through the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) California Department of Justice, his curriculum includes special courses of tactical training, such as ATGrD (Advanced Tactical Ground Defense), PCT (Pain Compliance Techniques), and Ha-e-Ha (knife to knife).

In 1999:
Grandmaster Crimi received special recognition from the Nevada County Sheriff Office for his exceptional commitment,
dedication, and years of service to the community and law enforcement.
