THE OCCULT / HIDDEN-REGIONS

OR AS IT IS COMMONLY REFERRED TO KIAI NO MAKI

THE PLACE WHERE THE ONLY LIMIT IS THE EXTENT OF MANS' MIND!

The Occult or Nether-regions lay some-where out beyond the boundaries of (yin & yang.) Beyond the boundaries of 'Shinnin no Maki' & 'Shinyo no Maki.' Before one can reach the nether-regions one must comprehend fully the philosophical construct of (in & yo) (yin & yang.) If Shinnin no Maki is the explosive force within the human spirit, then it stands to reason that shinyo no maki is the benign and calculating force of that same spirit. Human-kind is all too familiar with both (in & yo), and has demonstrated that familiarity by using both to their maximum effectiveness through-out their ostensive reign. Through-out this reign the use of these two forces has always had tremendous fluctuations within the use of darkness and within the use of light. The use of the (in or yin) has been taken to its' extremes in darkness. The use of the (yo or yang) has also been taken to its' extremes in the use of the light. Negativity suppresses, controls, intimidates and destroys the human spirit. The positive can also have a suppressing effect by stripping one of their dignity and self esteem creating a spirit dependent on a source of light other than its' own thus becoming a controlled spirit. This is the same destruction of the human spirit, in precisely the same manner. With the exception that the force is perceived to be good and benevolent. There is a reason for the qualities of yin and yang. Yin & yang are not only a set of correspondences; they also represent a way of thinking. One is within and one with the other there can be no separation. A balance has to exist for one can not exist without the other its very essence is the oneness if the balance is altered even one micro-micron then neither will exist. No thing can exist in and of itself.

In order for one to comprehend and understand this finite balance of the universe, they would have to explore both sides completely. This exploration can be done in one of two ways. The first way is to continue in exactly the same manner we always have, using the (yin & the yang) as we see fit. Disregarding the law of cause and affect. The other way is to explore within a semi-controlled environment that lends itself to the development and understanding of a philosophical construct.

Using a vehicle such as JuJutsu we are allowed this exploration, and encouraged to push the boundaries! We can explore the (yin and the yang) to their infinite conclusions without the creation of dependents, or the suppression of the human spirit. Allowing us to become almost child like in its' absorption.

Once in describing the nether-regions I speak of, I made reference to a child walking through a field of flowers. The child was completely surrounded by the flowers stretching out as far as the eye can see in every direction. The child would become totally absorbed by this, and would just be. Doing the things that children do exploring and creating from their discoveries. With no thoughts of anything other than the adventure at hand. Having no fears distractions or anticipation of what might await them. For during an adventure a child just is and knows that everything is as it ought to be and that no harm will come to them. They do not pray they do not worry nor do they tarry. The child has true faith "faith is the substance of things unknown, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews chapter 11 Verse 1.)

Jesus said, 'become as little children, or you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew chapter 18 Verse 3.) It is the faith of a child he spoke of. A child's faith is true faith, unconditional with no question faith in its' purest form. This true faith is due to the fact that to a child the universe is magical and full of mystery. The universe to a child is almost completely unfathomable so they just accept. The child growth is through his or her life experiences the more they learn the more the mysteries begin to wane and the magic dies. When the magic of life dies, so dies the faith!

The heart of jujutsu is the mystery and the magic. The very essence of jujutsu is comprised of the exoteric and esoteric teachings! The mysteries of life rekindled, the magic restored, and the faith renewed. JuJutsu speaks directly to the child within us teasing him prodding him and often times taunting him. Only to eventually reward the child with true gifts and true wealth. Through an understanding of self, human kind, and of god and the universe! The out come of all this is love, fidelity, and service to human kind.

Within these nether-regions armed with the faith of a child we are all at once one with god. We exist in all quadrants of the universe & in all times there is no time or space for Crimi of jujutsu. This philosophical construct for a true warrior is the ultimate adventure. The complete unification of mind, body, and spirit. Or if you will the father, the son, and the wholly spirit!
